Considered to be illegal and punishable under the Road Traffic Law B.E. 2522, Section 15
Paragraph one and paragraph three, which states that
The driver and the rear of the motorcycle must wear a standard helmet.
When driving a motorcycle on the road, location or route with travel
Both during the day and nightIf anyone violates
Shall be punished with a fine not exceeding five hundred baht.

In addition to the said fine
There are still imprisonment for a period of not more than a month.
In the event that the driver or the end of the age is under fifteen yearsAnd without a driving license
Imprisonment for a year
In the event that the driver or the rear -rear -repeat person is repeated within five years
Or both fined and imprisoned, if the driver or the rear person is under the influence of alcohol
