The vehicle speed law 2554 has been enforced since 5
January 2024
With the highest speed that allows driving in each area
As follows:

• Community and school area: 30 kilometers per hour
• Outside of the city: 60 kilometers per hour
• Motorway: 120
  Kilometers per hour

The driver who violates the car speed law will receive a fine as follows.

• Drive faster than scheduled 11-20
  Kilometers per hour: Fine 500 baht
• Drive faster than 21-30
  Kilometers per hour: Fine 1,000 baht
• Drive faster than scheduled 31-40
  Kilometers per hour: Fine 1,500 baht
• Drive faster than 41
  Kilometers per hour or more: Fine 2,000 baht and take a 30 -day driver’s license

In additionThe driver who repeatedly committed an offense within 1 year
Will be increased by a fine of 2 times and resting the driver’s license for 60 days
