Car tax renewal procedures2024

1. Prepare documents

• Copy of the car owner’s ID
• A copy of car registration
• A copy of vehicle registration manual
• Traffic fine receipt
  (If any)
• Car inspection certificate(If you are older than 1 year)

2. Bring documents to the Land Transport Office

   

3. Submit documents to staff

   

4. Car tax payment

• Personal taxes: 300 baht
• Car tax: 600
  Baht
• Public car tax: 1,200 baht

5. Receive a receipt

6. Attached to the receipt in the windshield

Note:

• Car tax renewal can be done in advance before the date of 15 days
• If not car tax within 15 days after the due dateWill have to pay a fine of 500
  Baht
• If not car tax for more than 15 days, will have to pay a fine of 1,000 baht.
  And may be prosecuted according to the law
